Itinerary

Day 1 Nairobi - Arusha
A shuttle service will collect you from Nairobi and drive you across the border to Arusha, located in the northern highlands of Tanzania, beneath the twin peaks of Mt Meru & Mount Kilimanjaro. You will have the afternoon to explore this town at leisure.
Meals: Lunch, Dinner
Overnight: Ndoro Lodge


Day 2 Karatu
Today you drive to the picturesque town of Karatu. The areas cool climate, verdant hills, and pleasing views make you feel right at home. Vast and extensive fields cover the slopes of the volcano and the lands around Karatu town. Karatu is also a stones throw away from the world famous Serengeti and Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Overnight: Kudu Camp


Day 3/4/5 Serengeti and Ngorongoro Excursion
The next few days are set aside for the 3-night camping excursion into the Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Crater. The Serengeti National Park is Tanzania's oldest and most popular national park, also a world heritage site, famed for its annual migration when some six million hooves pound the open plains. The Serengeti offers arguable the most scintillating game-viewing in Africa, great herds of buffalo, smaller groups of elephant and giraffe and thousands upon thousands of eland, topi, impala and gazelle.

Overnight: Day 3&4:Serengeti Public Campsites

Day 5:Crater Public Campsite


Day 6 Arusha
Today you exit the Ngorongoro Crater and make your way back to Arusha. In the afternoon you have the opportunity to visit the Snake Park in Arusha.
Optional Activities: camel ride to local Masaai village.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Overnight: Ndoro Lodge


Day 7 Nairobi
After crossing the border into Kenya you continue to travel towards Nairobi. Usually you enjoy a group meal out at one of Nairobi's excellent restaurants.
Optional Activities: Dinner out.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Overnight: Hotel Boulevard


Day 8 Lake Naivasha
Today, you will meander inland to Lake Naivasha for a relaxing day on the lakeshore. You can go hiking in the area and activities include game and bird watching. One of the more popular optional activities is to go game viewing from a bicycle. An alternative way to spend your afternoon is to take high tea at Elsamere, the former home of Joy Adams, best known for her autobiographical novel, Born Free.
Optional Activities: Cycle hire, High Tea at Elsamere, Boat Cruise
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Overnight: Fish Eagle


Day 9 Masai Mara
Your day begins with a game drive through Hells Gate National Park, before you enter the huge area of spectacular game viewing to photograph some of Africa's most abundant wildlife, the Masai Mara. The Masai Mara is known as Africa's Greatest Wildlife Reserve, famous for the abundance of lion, the Great Wildebeest Migration and the Masaai people, well known for their distinctive custom and dress, it is without a doubt Africa's most famous safari destination.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Overnight: Masai Mara Camp


Day 10 Lake Nakuru
Leaving the Masai Mara, you travel north to Lake Nakuru where you will spend the afternoon game driving. Originally created as a bird sanctuary, Lake Nakuru was upgraded to National Park status in 1968. White rhino inhabit the transitional savannah area surrounding the lake, with excellent photographic opportunities.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Overnight: Lion Hill


Day 11 Nairobi
Leaving Lake Nakuru, you head towards your final destination Nairobi. Your tour comes to an end upon arrival in Nairobi and tonight you will again have the opportunity to enjoy a meal out together in one of Nairobi's many restaurants.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Overnight: Own arrangements
