My wife and I stayed at Hudhuanfush,escaping the uk winter blues in jan 2012.We are well traveled and i can honestly say it was the best place we have ever been too.
We stayed next door to two delightful couples from London and Scotland and met another fab couple who lived only 5 mins down the road from our home in Liverpool. What are the chances of that?
Looking to return ASAP. Get it booked!

Myself and my partner stayed here from the 30th April to 8th May and had an amazing time. The speedboat transfer was incredible and we feel so priveleged to have experienced it. Upon arrival we were very welcomed and taken to the main reception/bar where we were handed a cold towel and refreshing drink - Very much needed after the many hours of travelling! Everyone there is very welcoming and kind. Also very prompt. We were given our keys to the beach villa and our luggage arrived shortly after. Our walk, approx 5 minutes from the main bar was amazing! The views are spectacular and the weather is everything we had hoped for considering the weather in Britain is terrible most of the time! The beach is beautiful and the snorkelling, again, amazing! You don't even have to be in the water to see the magnificent creatures swimming about. We were very lucky to have seen a lot whilst here...From the beautifully coloured fish to sting ray and sharks. The food here is spectatcular, very well prepared and the staff are so friendly. We were given a table number the first night we ate and that was then our table for the duration of our stay.
They have theme nights for food also. One day could be Chinese, the next Maldivian and the list goes on so everyone is guaranteed to eat something they like. There's so much to choose from so your spoilt for choice really.
They provide a buffet and help yourself. Highly recommend the fruit...We have never tasted anything like the fruit they have there - Very sweet and fresh. We became good friends with a couple maldivians during our stay and will now be in contact through Facebook. Their service is out of this world...They aim to please and they should be given a lot of credit for the work they do. Hats off to Thal who works in the main bar as a waiter. Hes friendly, kind and we feel very priveleged to have met him. We would also highly recommend the Ocean Villas.
We stayed for the last 2 nights of our stay and their incredible...Words cannot describe how amazing they are! Very modern and the air conditioning was our savour for the afternoons where it tends to get very hot. How nice it is to sit back and relax on the balcony and enjoy the view and take a few steps down into the sea too. Overall an amazing trip and will definitely be returning.

I have travelled all over the world, and this is one of my favourite places. Paying £1500 each for a 2 week all inclusive holiday we were expecting it to be an average 3 star, it was at least a good 4 star. The diving was amazing, the snorkelling was amazing, and just sitting in the shallow shores and watching sharks, rays, eels go past was equally as amazing.
The staff were friendly when we needed them to be and all seemed to be doing there job without hassling you. We met some great people at dinner or at the bars, in the sea etc but mainly kept ourselves to ourselves and if you go the maldives, you dont expect late nights at the disco and constant entertainment. it is the place for pure relaxation, a good book, some cocktails, nice food and some diving if you please. We spent every day on our bit of beach outside our room unless we were on a trip. visited the pool one afternoon, didnt think much of it but i prefer the beach anyway.
I recommend upgrading to the ocean villas for a few nights, expensive but worth every minute, we had sharks, lionfish swimming round us it was superb! if you want to experience the maldives without paying an absolute fortune i would highly recommend this hotel
