Alegria is a beautiful, luxurious cottage located in Marloth Park, a private residential Nature Reserve, boundering the Kruger National Park. The Crocodile Bridge entrance to Kruger Park is just a 15 minute drive from the cottage. There are no fences in Marloth Park, therefore the animals wander through the park freely. Giraffe and Kudu come to eat from the trees in the garden and numerous other animals wander past the cottage during the day including impala, zebra, wilderbeest, warthog and many more. An abundance of birdlife as well. The cottage is a 4 minute walk from the banks of the famous Crocodile River of Kruger National Park, where elephant and buffalo regularly come to drink in the evenings perfect for sundowners!
The cottage is beautifully furnished and has 3 large bedrooms all with their own en-suite bathrooms and all with air conditioning and all open onto terraces. The cottage is ideal for families and has a splash pool to keep you cool.
The house is a 4 hour drive from Johannesburg International Airport and is located between Komatipoort and Malalane. Only a 2 hour drive away is Maputo, Mozambique, where you can sit in beach front restaurants enjoying a glass of cold white wine and sampling the famous Lourenço Marques prawns.
The cottage has 3 bedrooms all with their own bathrooms , airconditioning and terraces. Downstairs there is a relaxing living area with a huge terrace to sit and relax and watch the animals pass by. There is a fully equipped kitchen, opening onto the living area. There is also a small guest toilet downstairs. Upstairs there is a loft area with soft chairs and air conditioning, Satellite TV, DVD, Video and a terrace. The upstairs could sleep an additional 2 persons and we have provided beds and linens for this possibility.
The house has a supply of books, videos, CD´s and games to keep you entertained. All linens and towels are provided. Daily cleaning service is available at additional cost.
Outside, at the front of the house there is a big terrace with table and 6 chairs. Perfect for relaxing with a cold drink and watching the game pass by. At the back of the house there is another big terrace with built in BBQ and a splash pool, with a table and 8 chairs. Perfect for preparing a bush style dinner, with the hyena laughing in the background and the occasional roar of a nearby lion.
The house consists of:
Kitchen: fully equipped kitched, cooker, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster everything for cooking.
Bedroom 1: king size bed, air conditioned, wardrobe, dressing table and mirror, en suite bathroom with bath and shower.
Bedroom 2: 2 single size beds, wardrobe, dresser and mirror, airconditioned, en suite bathroom with shower unit.
Bathroom: small guest bathroom with toilet and sink unit.
Bedroom 3 : queen bed, dresser and mirror, en suite bathroom with shower.
Guest toilet room Upstairs loft : TV and satellite, video, soft 2 chairs, could put 2 single mattresses for kids. All linen is supplied. All bedrooms are air conditioned. Downstairs living area with sofa, coffee table, books, games.
Cot and Highchair are also available if required.

Driving Directions:
From Johannesburg, head towards Nelspruit. Pass through Nelspruit and follow directions to Malelane. Pass through Malelane. At Hectorspruit set your mileomoter. 10km after Hectorspruit, turn left into Marloth Park (signposted). Then follow the dirt road for 5km and arrive at the entry gate to Marloth Park. Pass through the entry gate and continue on a tar road for 8.8km. Turn left into Ratel Street. Follow the dirt road for 0.4km, then at the T Junction, turn right to Swartwipensweg. Then after 0.5km, turn right to Otter Street. Alegria is 100 meters on your right (signposted - No 3081)
