Southern Sun Maputo is magnificently situated on the beachfront, on the Avenida da Marginal, overlooking the Indian Ocean.

I stayed twice last November at the Southern Sun. Both rooms were spacious and confortable. Staff was very helpful and always smiling and ready for a joke. We used the business center for a one day trip to the Kruger park and we got an excellent tour that lasted much longer that was originally foresee. Breakfast is really great and the restaurant is good. |

Stayed here from 4 to 8 January 2012. Fantastic location on the beachfront. I loved the architecture and I had the most beautiful room. Service throughout was excellent. Also ate at the Hotel breakfasts were out of this world. Dinner and room service was also great. I found it great value for money prices were very reasonable. The olives in the bar was AWESOME. Id love to know where they are from or steal that recipe. |
