Short but Sweet. This trip takes in the very best of Kruger Park, Swaziland and Kwazulu Natal. Perfect for those with less time, but who still want to see as much as possible of stunning South Africa.
We start our safari by making our way to the beautiful undulating landscape of the Mpumalanga province where the awesome Kruger National Park offers the opportunity to experience close encounters with game such as Elephant, Lion, Rhino and Buffalo in their natural, unfenced environment. Next up is the Kingdom of Swaziland and the beautiful World Heritage Site of St Lucia. The safari then concludes with the Hluhluwe/ Umfolozi National Park. Home to the largest population of black and white rhino in the world.
DAY 1 - Pretoria
Day at leisure to enjoy all that this vibrant city has to offer. Clients are to meet at Arcadia hotel at 18h30pm for the pre-departure meeting. Here you will meet your crew. All meals at your own expense.

DAY 2 - Graskop (390km - 4 hours)
Departure will be early this morning to make our way to the beautiful undulating landscape of the Mpumalanga province. Our first stop will be the historical town of Pilgrims Rest where we will have some time to explore the town. In the afternoon we will visit one of the well-known waterfalls, the Mac Mac Falls. Breakfast from hotel and dinner from truck. Lunch will be at your own expense.
DAY 3 - Kruger National Park (250km - 3 hours)
This morning we shall take a leisurely drive to the awe-inspiring viewpoints of Blyde River Canyon and God's Window. Then we will head to the famous Kruger National Park for an afternoon game drive where we have the opportunity to experience close encounters with game such as elephant, lion, rhino and buffalo in their natural, environment. An optional night drive is available at some of the camps. You can arrange a booking directly with your tour leader. Breakfast and lunch from the truck. Dinner will be at your own expense.

DAY 4 - Kruger National Park
The best time to see the game is early morning and late afternoon. So you will have an early start for the first game drive, setting out to spot some of the Big 5, then return to camp for brunch. We relax during the heat of the day and go out on a second game drive in the afternoon. Breakfast from truck. Dinner to your own expense.

Day 5 & 6 - Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary - Swaziland (300km - 4 hours)
Set out early this morning for some more game viewing in Kruger National Park. Then we will make our way south to the little Kingdom of Swaziland. We head to Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary, which was the first of Swaziland's wildlife refuges. We will have a full day to enjoy some optional activities in this beautiful reserve such as horse-riding, mountain bike riding and game walking. Breakfast and lunch from truck on Day 5. Breakfast from lodge on Day 6. Rest of meals at your own expense.

DAY 7 - Hluhluwe (300 km - 4 hours)
Today we will make our way to Hluhluwe via St Lucia, a world heritage site. You have the option of snorkelling at Cape Vidal or going on a sun downer cruise on lake St Lucia or simply relaxing in the village. Breakfast from lodge and lunch from truck. Dinner will be at your own expense.
DAY 8 - Hluhluwe
We shall head out early this morning for a game drive in Hluhluwe/Umfolozi National Park, home to the largest population of black and white rhino in the world. Enjoy some close encounters with game in this well known reserve. Afterwards we return to our lodge where we spend the rest of the afternoon. Breakfast from lodge. Lunch and dinner at your own expense.
DAY 9 - Tour Ends
Kruger and KwaZulu Safari is a module of the 'Rainbow Nation' tour, and all clients booked on this module will be dropped off in Durban on this day. Drakensberg and Garden Route Explorer is also a module of the 'Rainbow Nation' tour, and all clients booked on this tour will be collected in Durban on this day before departing to the Drakensberg. If clients are being dropped off or picked up at this point, we will travel via north Durban.
