CHILDREN POLICY: Children under 3 years: Stay free of charge, Children 3 – 11 years: Pay 50% of the adult sharing rate when sharing with 2 adults in a Superior Suite only.Luxury / Superior Suites: Of the 5 Luxury / Superior Suites, 2 have a second bedroom which can accommodate 2 children, through a common unit entrance.
Children under the age of 12 years are permitted on safari at the sole discretion of the manager or guide. Children under the age of 6 are not permitted on safari, and where possible, a kiddies safari will be arranged between normal safari times.Baby sitting can be arrange at the lodge at an additional charge.
The lodge reserves the right to restrict one night stays over weekends, long weekends and Peak Periods.

We had 3 nights at Kapama Karula, and it was the best experience ever. Our ranger Moses and tracker Tenber were so experienced and friendly, they made our stay so enjoyable ! We managed to see all of the BIG 5 and many more animals, on our last game drive Moses tracked down the elusive leopard. The staff at Kapama Karula are excellent and the food is delicious ! All in all a 5 STAR HOLIDAY

My husband and I stayed for two nights during our honeymoon. The place was beautiful, the people very nice, and the animals amazing.....such a peaceful place! I would recommend.
Great modern rooms, bush not so good

The new modern rooms at Karula are fantastic. What a refreshing take on a bush lodge room. Modern, airy, beautiful. Very generous in proportions too.
The bush is being rehabilitated from old farmlands and is not quite the authentic experience one looks for at a bush break away.
