Mermaid's Cove in Zanzibar. What a stay! Our experience is best described by one word, “exceptional”. The service and food are of high quality. The villa decor is outstanding and the staff are warm and welcoming. Consider having a meal on the jetty, which is few steps stretching into the ocean offering a breath-taking view of the coast. An important attraction for us, in addition to others, is the social mission of the resort to ensure a sustainable footprint. Moreover, the resort is laid out in a way that allows for a private, intimate experience. If you are looking for a social-environmentally conscious private oasis, THIS is the place! I'm looking forward to our next visit soon! Thank you Mermaid’s Cove Beach Resort for the amazing experience.

Mermaid’s Cove is a nice small hotel with pristine beaches. The best place if you enjoy a quiet environment. The surroundings are superb, swaying of the palm leaves and the Indian Ocean breeze right in front of your balcony is an amazing experience! Lots of amenities, pool beds, resting huts, and even a divan bed in front of the pool. The food is excellent! The welcoming that we got from the staff especially the Head of the Restaurant, was exceptional. Management go out of their way to make the guests' stay as comfortable as possible. Overall we enjoyed the serene lush environment and the fact that it is a 16 roomed hotel makes the hotel less crowded making the experience even better. All the rooms face the sea!
