Ocean Paradise Resort accommodation has been designed in 100 traditional African roundhouse, using only the finest building materials and featuring all the comforts you could need for a truly wonderful and relaxing holiday, as their Superior Rooms and Junior Suites are truly unrivalled.
Set in 6.5 hectares of serene and colorful gardens, leading to a white sandy beach and the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean, each room is indeed located in an idyllic setting, nestled under a pitched makuti roof, and offering sea facing outstanding views of the beach and ocean with large patio doors that open up to a private balcony, where you can sit and take in the sedate pace of African life.
Each room is fully air-conditioned and appointed to the highest standards being equipped with all the modern comforts to ensure a relaxing and memorable holiday. The design of the decor and the selection of the furnishings have been influenced by the beauty of the surroundings, reflecting the traditional styles of native East Africa. All the rooms are equipped with air conditioning, ceiling fan, mosquito netting, satellite color television, radio, direct dial telephone, mini-bar, hair dryer and a unique en suite bathroom that warps around the main room with hot and cold water shower.

Ocean Paradise Resort features two restaurants that offer the finest food in Zanzibar, using only the best in local and imported produce, where you can taste the pure freshness of the seafood caught immediately off the shores of the resort
The Ocean Restaurant, sitting two floors up, has panoramic views over the resort and the Indian Ocean beyond. The Restaurant serves a sumptuous breakfast with an array of freshly baked breads, croissants and Danish pastries, cereals, fresh squeezed juices, local fruits, cold cuts and cheeses and of course, traditional cooked dishes. In the evening, the mood changes, with soft lighting, candles and an extensive themed buffet which changes daily featuring a varied selection of fresh local fish served with the finest tropical fruits and other local produce of Zanzibar.
The Jahazi Restaurant & Pool Bar located at the poolside and overlooking the Ocean is an ideal place for guests to sip cold drinks, ice creams and milk shakes or have a meal of seafood specialties, wood-fired pizzas, as well as other light fare, all served in an informal setting. The menu of the Jahazi Restaurant & Pool Bar also offers an a la carte selection of international and authentic Zanzibarian Dishes.
Ocean Paradise Resort daily entertainment also arranges something different to keep you entertained daily. From traditional African dancers, acrobats and their resident band, to big screen sports broadcasts and sports competitions.
