Beach Walks Our staff is on standby to take you down to our beach, to enjoy the feel of the sand beneath your feet and the ocean mist cooling you down. A relaxing stroll along a 7km stretch of private, unspoiled beach with its sweeping dunes will give you a sense of serenity, where your thoughts belong to yourself. Rock and Surf Fishing As the name suggests, anglers can be catered for. Either by choice or by circumstance some choose not to fish from boats – therefore at Oceana we provide you with the equipment to enjoy fishing without the sound of technology and machinery. An experience where it is all about the catch at the end of a day’s fishing. Pétangue Pétanque is a form of bowls where the goal is, while standing with the feet together in a small circle, to roll metal balls as close as possible to a small wooden ball called a cochonnet (literally "piglet") or jack. 5 hole Putting Green You have the chance to improve your golf game on our putting green and ensure those three putts, become two. Although many believe that golf is a game of luck, the more you practice, the luckier you get. Texas Pitching Washers Washers is a game, similar to horseshoes, that involves two teams of two players that take turns tossing washers towards a “washer box”. In order to score, one must place a washer into the box, into the can that is within the box, or within one foot (shoe size) of the box. It’s great fun! Games Room and Home Theatre Our Games Room is designed for guests who need to relax and unwind. It includes every comfort and technical innovation to support your indoor activities. The main attractions are the Shuffle Board, Pool Table, Computer with unlimited internet access and Home Theatre System. Game Experiences At Oceana we know that living the African Dream is all about experiencing the great outdoors, smelling the fragrance of the earth as the rain falls, feeling the warmth of the sun warming ones soul and the incredible thrill of looking for animals in their natural habitat. Because we also know that each of our guests live life at a different pace, we are also able to tailor-make our game experiences, and our ranger can offer the game experience that each has always dreamed of. We view game from the vantage point of our elevated veranda, while sipping warm coffee at the crack of an African dawn, or at the colourful end of a perfect day. You are invited to climb aboard a safari vehicle and as the lazy African afternoons stretch out seemingly endlessly, spot our range of free to roam animals. We pack sundowners and stop at any number of vantage points so that our very special guests can live the dream that we are lucky enough to call our home – Oceana Beach & Wildlife Reserve.
