Directions To Pestana Bazaruto Lodge

Pestana Bazaruto Lodge is situated in the largest island of the Bazaruto Archipelago, approximately 600 km to the north of Maputo, the capital of Mozambique. The island is 35 Km in length and 7 km across at the widest point, and is a little piece of paradise! There are five weekly flights from Maputo to Vilanculos, one daily from Johannesburg to Vilanculos and bi weekly flights from Nelspruit and Harare to Vilanculos. From there, daily transfers to Bazaruto Island are available and coincide with most of the flights arriving from Maputo and South Africa. This transfer is done by a small 9-seater plane and the flight lasts approximately 20 minutes. This is a memorable trip. It is possible to accommodate private charters and planes.
