Pinewood Village is a very comfortable and laid back resort located at the bottom end of Diani Beach in Mombasa, Kenya. It has been recently renovated and is the best value for money on the Mombasa Coast.
The beach is private and the living areas also contribute to the private atmosphere. There are no big frills and fusses about Pinewood Village. It is simple yet very comfortable. The reception area has recently been upgraded and a beautiful fishpond has been built near the entrance.
Pinewood Village is filled with activities and definitely has all the facilities to satisfy any holiday maker. There is a stunning pool area and very festive pool bar, both right down next to the beach. At Pinewood Village you will be able to laze in the sun next to the pool and enjoy the sounds of the waves. Other activities also offered are a squash court, tennis court, library, the biggest water sports centre on the Mombasa coast (which includes some 7 jest skis). There is plenty to do for both families and individuals at a fraction of the cost of some of the other resorts.
There are only 60 rooms at Pinewood Village. 40 Standard room and 20 Suites. All rooms are en-suite with aircon, mosquito nets, own balcony and ceiling fans. The rooms are in 20 detached units with 2 standard rooms upstairs and the suite downstairs.
