Exclusive holiday Mozambique Accommodation at Praia de Ouro Sul is available throughout the year in permanent tents. The permanent tents accommodate four people in an open area. Two three-quarter beds and one bunker bed with bedding are supplied. Tea and coffee-making facilities, a kettle, a refrigerator and towels in the en suite bathroom area, consisting of a shower, basin and toilet, are supplied. Please bring your own towels for swimming.
No braais (barbeques) are allowed at the tents. A boma with thatched roof, basin, electricity and a large braai area is available for braais and cooking. The restaurant serves brunch and dinner daily. Ponta do Ouro, the neighbouring village, is about 5 minutes drive by quad bike or 4 x 4 vehicle from Praia de Ouro Sul. Ponta do Ouro is well-known for it's excellent scuba-diving among world-famous coral reefs.
Accommodation The tents all have electricity and running hot and cold water. All bedding (duvets) and towels for use inside the tent are supplied. Please bring along more than one beach towel per person, if possible.
The tents are serviced daily (general cleaning, but excluding the washing of dishes and laundry).
Tea and coffee making facilities are available (kettle, tray, etc.) but no preparation of food is allowed at the tents. The restaurant serves brunch and dinner daily, or otherwise meals are prepared by guests at the boma, which is walking distance from all the tents. Gas burners for the preparation of food and a basin for dishes are supplied at the boma. At night, you can go to the restaurant for dinner or have a braai at the boma.
It is a good idea to bring along a picnic basket with crockery and cutlery for your family to use at the boma. Also, bring along your groceries for the preparation of food at the boma.
