The buildings are built in a traditional Masai Manyatta semi-circle and are on two levels. They are decorated in either Lamu or English style and blend in perfectly with the picturesque surrounds. Tropical Village is stretched along half a kilometre of pristine white beaches encircled by a coral reef. This makes for still waters and great snorkelling and scuba diving. Another great pastime at Tropical Village Hotel is game fishing. The area is well-known for its billfish species and in particular the regal sailfish. Marlin, Wahoo, Tuna and Dorado are also popular.
