Directions To Abalone House

From Cape Town: travel north on the R27, turn left at the Vredenburg turn-off and travel through Vredenburg to Paternoster. The entire trip is ± 140km. From Cape Town International Airport: travel towards Cape Town on the N2, take the N7 - Malmesbury/ Goodwood turnoff (Vanguard Drive) and turn right towards Malmesbury. Travel north on the N7 and turn left at the Melkbosstrand turn-off. Continue to the R27. Turn right onto the R27 and travel north, past Yzerfontein and Langebaan until you get to the Vredenburg turn-off. Turn left at the Vredenburg turn-off and travel through Vredenburg to Paternoster. The entire trip is ± 155km

Prepare your own meal or visit one of the rustic local restaurants. • Whale and Dolphin watching (July – December) • The world famous flower season is from August to October and this is the most scenic time of year as wild flowers bloom in their magnificence, transforming the landscape into a breathtaking carpet of floral colours. The area boasts 1200 species of indigenous plants. • Horse riding on the beach. • For those chilly winter nights sip a glass of red wine alongside a warm cosy fire as the velvet darkness sets in, listening to the stormy ocean waves crash on the shore

Payment and cancellation Policy: 10% of total fee if cancelled on any cancellation. 25% of total fee if cancelled less than 30 days prior to arrival. 50% of total fee if cancelled less than 14 days prior to arrival. 100% of total fee if cancelled less than 7 days prior to arrival. Payment Methods: Only Master and Visa credit cards gladly accepted. Direct bank transfers preferable. Check in and check out times and procedures: Please note that check-in time is 14:00 and check-out is 10:00 unless otherwise arranged. A R 100 per hour extra will be charged to your account for every hour after check out. No pets allowed unless otherwise arranged. Only the number of people on the booking form is allowed to book in.
