Makuti Restaurant is the main dining facility at the Resort where breakfast, lunch and dinner is served, depending on the meal plan. The Makuti Restaurant enjoys views over the swimming pool to the ocean beyond.
The Bahari Grill serves seafood and local specialities and offers an exclusive dining experience for à la carte lunch and dinner.
Palms Pool Bar is a poolside oasis offers a full range of cocktails, wines, spirits, fresh juices and specialised coffees. The bar features a Shisha Corner and there is a live band most evenings until closing time.
Blue Marlin Beach Restaurant is situated at the ocean’s edge, the restaurant serves à la carte al fresco lunchtime grilled or stir-fried specialities including fresh seafood.
For freshly ground coffee and a great selection of cakes, pastries and freshly made sandwiches, Blu Deli Terrace Café can satisfy your pallet. It also serves a delicious range of ice creams.
Mawimbi Pool Bar overlooks the swimming pool, beach and the ocean beyond. This is the perfect venue to enjoy a range of beverages and cocktails.
Located on the beach and offering ‘toes-in-the-sand’ à la carte for either lunch or dinner you will find Kivuli Bar & Restaurant which specialises in Far Eastern Fusion cuisine.

We stayed here on a weekday and loved it. The wooden cottages were new and sported excellent fittings. Peaceful beach and the Guards were quite accomodative yet firm when reasoning with guests. Pool was clean and inviting.The lights were on beyond 10/11 PM which was encouraging. Check in and out were smooth and they even accepted a cancellation without a second word. Overall a memorable weekend for us.

We a group of 18 people visited blubay resort on 23/09/11 and we really enjoyed our day. We enjoyed our time in swimming pool and indoor, outdoor games..staffs were courteous. resort was simple and neat.

We has a wonderful get-together at Blue Bay resort .All went well as per plan. Resort Manger Mr John had made very good arrangement and was very co operative throughout the day , serving us in every possible way . We would like to thanks him for the nice arrangements done including the food selections .Food was too good beyond our expectation . Overall i would rate 5 out of 5 Would definitely plan to visit again and recommend other groups from our company to plan offsite at your location.

To the AfricaStay team We'd like to express our heartfelt gratitude for helping experience the most wonderful place called Zanzibar. From the initial enquiry to the boarding of the plane back to SA, we are still speechless at how well and professional the team carried itselft. We had a warm reception curtosy of Garrib who also went out of his way to assist us with minor challenges we ran into as we were first time travellers (lacked knowledge of currency exchange) and our card got stuck in the ATM. The very next day, AfricaStay team was already waiting for us to assist with getting the card back and that happened with ease as Jay helped with the translation at the bank. We enjoyed staying at BlueBay, amazing views, food, staff...everything was to our expectations and a bit more. On our way back to the airport, my wife accidentally forgot her cellphone in the tour bus. We made enquiries with Marian who immediately notified us that the cellphone was safe and sound and he had it couriered a week later. Jay had told us that Zanzibar is a crime free island and that proved to us it was no lie. We'll definitely be using AfricaStay for our future bookings, forever greatful to you for making the last leg of our marriage week a memorable one! Thank you so mcuh!
