Bushlands Game Lodge is surrounded by over 300 000 acres of national parks, including Hluhluwe-Imfolozi, Mkuze, Ndumo, St Lucia and Sodwana Bay. The lodge boasts a relaxed and friendly atmosphere where guests can indulge in sumptuous meals at the restaurant, and enjoy the viewing lounge while sipping sundowners and interacting with game such as zebra and nyala, which are found on the property. Luxurious wooden chalets built on stilts are elevated above a sand forest and are connected by raised wooden walkways which lead to the main dining room, bar, swimming pool and boma.

Area Attractions

• Take a wilderness trail in the 30 000 hectare wilderness area, an area only accessed by foot or horseback. There are no roads in this section of the park. • Search for the "big 5" in an open safari vehicle in the hands of one of our experienced game rangers. • Have a picnic breakfast or lunch on the banks of the Hluhluwe or Imfolozi Rivers. • Let our rangers show you where the Zulu King, Shaka, had his royal hunting grounds.
