Title: Paradise on the Indian Ocean
Beautiful resort overlooking the Ocean. We had two nights here as the start of a brief trip to Zanzibar. My husband and I traveled together with a friend. The rooms were lovely with large balconies. The pool and the restaurant were both next to the ocean with lovely views. It was a most peaceful environment. Our only difficulty was the air conditioner which did not work the first night and it was a very hot night. The following day we were offered another room, but they were able to fix the air conditioner. The Ocean was very pleasant temperature, perfect for swimming, but one had to wait for the high tide, otherwise it is too far to walk. Also one needs beach shoes since the ocean floor is quite rocky. We were able to buy beach shoes at the hotel for $5U.S. each. It was well used.Would recommend this resort and hope in the near future we could return again.

This hotel is paradise on earth! The location is serene, beautiful and luxurious. The hotel is is stylish with a very high level of service and the staff works hard to make you feel utter relaxation. The rooms are big and modern with a comfy bed, big tv, designer bathroom, mosquito net (even though Zanzibar does not have malaria) lovely balcony and of course a safe. On the grounds, watched over by Masaiis, you find a lovely pool just by the private beach and a restaurant/bar/lounge hovering on pillars above the sand. The staff is very service minded and friendly and respond to every request no matter how difficult (arrange daytrips with no notice, drive you to remote locations, trow together a picnic, hook you up with the locals to go snorkling or get a massage on the beach). We loved this place, the staff really made you feel pampered and the location is heavenly, secluded but not too far off. I will asure you that you will love this place, I give it 5 out of 5!

I spent 2 nights at this small, gorgeous resort. All 18 rooms have ocean view. Our room had very nice interior decor and very large bathroom. The balcony was nice with 2 fluffy chairs with full ocean view and and as we were on the main floor, we had beautiful flowers/garden. The hotel appears to be at the northern edge of Dongwe and there seems to be a small fishing community, with wooden boats just north of the hotel. Very picturesque and interesting. The pool is very close to and overlooks the ocean, as does the open air restaurant. The food was good and service great. Nice walks along the southern beach too. I plan to go back next year, for longer!
