We have just returned from our honeymoon in Egypt the finale of which was to be our stay in the Four Seasons. The resort is very attractive and beautifully maintained. However the views from the terraces of the standard rooms are disappointing to say the least, unless you upgrade to rooms with a sea view. The Hotel is a bit soulless and lacks any genuine friendliness. Staff are generally efficient, however we had a major problem with ants in the room, which the staff failed to deal with on 2 occasions. My wife was covered in ant bites after both incidents. Milk in the mini bar was curdled and the replacement milk was also. We were concerned over hygiene standards. A childfree seating area in the Arabesque restaurant could not be supplied. Mr Parker failed to accept responsibility and to respond to any of our complaints. My wife was in tears and we changed hotel on the second day.
