What impessed us mos was the friendliness of the staff not to mention how incredibly helpful they were - really 10/10 service wth smiles all round. The hotel was also beautifully decorated and incredibly clean! The rooms are stunning and has everything a guest could ask for!

The hotels was great and and everyone went out there way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Thanks to the hotel manager who made sure we had enough lobster and fish on the menu. You will see me soon again
Title: I would go back in a heartbeat
Karafuu was fantastic. Staff were friendly and good fun. Food was lovely and freshness and variety was impressive. The snorkling was so cool, I only wish I had done more of it. The reef that lines the beach outside of the hotel is a bit of a bummer, but by far no reason to exclude this hotel as it is the reason the snorkling is so great. Be careful not to step on an urchin "it will make your holiday very much terrible", sage advice from on eof the staff. The locals offer great tours which are cheaper and more personal than those offered by the hotel. Speak to Faizel, he is inexpensive and the expriences he offers are amazing. I recommend his trip "Safari Blue Two" Reff snorkling floowed by fields of starfish as big as your head, then a tour of the mangroves and finally the best seafood lunch you will EVER have: lobster, calamari, line fish curry, roti, chips, Seared linefish all caught fresh that day for our trip. The Masai who head up the security at the hotel were so interesting and friendly. A trip to Stonetown is a must, the drive is about 1 1/2 hrs from the hotel. Spice tour not so much of a must, but interesting none-the-less. All in all, we had a fantastic time and cant wait to return. Jambo!

we stayed 2 weeks in Karafuu Hotel and had a great time. Food was ootsgood, our room ( nr Kumi na Nne) was absolutely perfect, and all the staff including the Diving Center made our stay so pleasant and relaxing !
