If you look for a special place, a retreat with a special athmosphere this is the place. If you want entertainment teams, Disneyland and that kind of things you're wrong. For us it was the perfect place to go after a safari trip with lots of impressions and adventures. A time of talk, reflections and having the family close. The food was excellent (buffet) and the staff was friendly and servicemindid.We enjoyed the grilled fish especially. Not only good cleaning but every night while we were having dinner someone made the bed ready for sleep. Stunning view and good beach. Considering having a 17, 14, 11 year that managed to entertain themselves totally it was a hit.

My wife and 2 children 13 and 15 and spent a week in the Conch cottage at KKICHANGA LODGE in mid-March 2012. We first did a 10 days in Tanzania and than 5 days in Zanzibar.. The view from our bungalow of the beach, the Indian Ocean was spectacular. There is dive center 10 minutes from Kichanga .There is good food , very fresh . The night sky is spectacular and The only downside was that 2 times the electricity went off for 3 hrs , but the hotel has a back up with a generatorand there was no generator.... " The manager and all the staff were very friendly and helpful and we enjoyed very much . We will definitely consider going back to kichanga Lodge.

I had a wonderfull experience in Kichanga lodge, I was not staying there but stopped with friends for lunch. it is a perfect place for relaxing and enjoy your lunch with a beautiful view of the indiam ocean. beauty is difficult to explain not only because it is relative but also because each one feels it differently you have to visit the place to grasp it, understand and appreciate...very quiet place and just pleasent

Very friendly and professional staff. Beautifully situated about 1 hours drive from Stonetown. Lots of atmosphere. You feel welcome as from day one and they really try to accommodate you. You sleep well and eat very good food, judging from experience one of the very best lodges on the eastern coast! Well and fresh kept beach. Nice walks along the beach but make sure you bring shoes suitable also for bathing. Washing and laundry services excellent.
