We arrived in Zanzibar around 3 am don't know exactly where to go but a friend of my colleague referred us to this Guesthouse. 1 hr travel from the airport without seeing anything but darkness. When we arrived in Kilima Kidogo Guesthouse around 4 am, everybody was resting but we're very grateful that the owner Mama Dina woke up and assisted and accommodated us direct to our room. Shes like our mother waiting for her children form a disco...... hahahahahaha. we stayed in the Kilima for 6 days, the ambiance is very relaxing, the quite moment with the sounds of the waves, Mama Dina, Joey and Luis were very accommodating and taking cared our daily tour and food. Oh speaking of the food, we really love the SEA FOOD PLATTER ( Lobster, Jumbo and King Prawns, Calamari, Fish, Octupos) was so delicious and great. The Good thing of Kilama Kidogo GuestHouse we are personally taking cared of the Owners. They provide planned tour with good rates. The feeling of Security and Safety is always there. If I will come back again in Zanzibar for a Holiday, I will never have a second thought to stay again in Kilima Kidogo.

It's an excellent place to relax and chill out. Amazing location right by the beach, really friendly staff, excellent facilities and service.....but the food you get is something you will never forget....it's really amazing and we ended up taking photos of it as the presentation was that great and it's really reasonably priced as well. Even on a budget you can stay and eat there like a king or queen. The owner is a really nice lady who will go the extra mile to make you feel special and welcome and the local staff is great as well and they will cater to your every need. The place doesn't have a pool, but it really doesn't matter as the beach and see are just outside the guesthouse. Also, I can strongly recommend ordering a cocktail at the beach bar.....it'll put you in the right frame of mind for a great holiday by the beach.

We had an awesome time at Kilima Kidogo. We had a beautiful room and bathroom. The atmosphere was great and relaxing. We ate meals right there and everything we ordered was delicous. There were 2 ladies running the place and they were very friendly and helpful. They made us feel very special. They were always asking how everything was and helped us plan activities like tours in the area. One of the ladies went with us when we went snorkeling. My daughters boyfriend was going to propose to her and they went out of their way to make it a very special time for the two of them. They fixed a little gazebo for them to have dinner but it started raining so they made another place for them. The area was quiet and we enjoyed the beautiful scenery. We enjoyed it not being very crowded and we were able to relax and just enjoy ourselves. I would recommend this place to anyone. They were getting ready to put a pool in. We enjoyed walking down the beach, fishing, snorkeling, oh and I forgot the body massage was fantastic. I hope that one of these days we are able to return to our little dream vacation spot!!!

As usual on Zanzibar, windows do have glass, which needs a bit to get used to. The room was very spaciously compared...
