The Koo Karoo Guest Lodge Self Catering facilities are centrally situated in a quiet street in the historic part of Montagu. Restaurants and all other amenities are within easy walking distance. The Cottage was converted from its former use many years ago as a coach house and it still boasts many of the original features such as the barn doors, parts of old cobble stone flooring and original stone walls. A second self catering apartment has been created in the east wing of the main house, and is accessed via two private entrances. Information About the Cottage The cottage consists of two separate bedrooms (with twin beds in each room). There is a sofa bed in the lounge area, which gives a maximum occupancy of 5 people. The bathroom has a bath, separate shower, and toilet. The cottage has a well equipped kitchen and the lounge area has DSTV. Free WiFi access. Information About the Apartment One ensuite bedroom with a double and separate single bed, bath, separate shower, and toilet, is ideal for couples. The apartment can accommodate up to 4 people with a sofa bed situated in the lounge area, and the bathroom has a separate entrance independent from the bedroom. The apartment has a well equipped kitchen and the lounge area has DSTV. Free WiFi access.

When approaching Montagu from Ashton on the Route 62 (Long Street) take the second road on the left, Barry Street. Take the second turning on the right onto Piet Retief Street and the Koo Karoo Guest Lodge is on the left next door to the Municipal Offices. If approaching from Barrydale take the fifth right up Church Street, at the end of the road turn right and then immediately left onto Bloem Street. At the junction turn left and the Koo Karoo Guest Lodge is immediately on your right
