Heaven on earth - wonderful wonderful wonderful - fantastic food great service, we stayed in water villa with jacuzzi wonderful views out on to the ocean - this place is truly magical if you can go Al La Carte AL - its worth every penny you can eat in any of the great restaurants and drink almost whatever you want - true paradise cant wait to return

We stayed at Kuramathi for 10 nights, flying for Gatwick. We stayed in a jacuzzi water villa, no 241. It was a fantastic time - truly amazing place. The room was amazingly clean and modern. The deck was amazing!! It was incredible to see the baby sharks etc flitting round beneath you. We were lucky enough to be the end of the row of 10 villas so had a massive view!!We opted for select a la carte which was faultless and some great wines by the bottle included. We loved the ocean bbq (steak diane cooked in front of you!) and the siam garden thai place. Service generally was amazing from the room attendant to the restairant staff. We didnt tend to eat much at our allocated buffet but they were lovely too and gave us a little snack to take back to the room when one of us were ill. We would definately, definately love to return but would take fewer clothes and shoes next time.......I read the forum tips before I went but didnt believe how little you need!

We stayed at kuramathi for 11 nights on the 25th april 2012 for our honeymoon.We arrived by seaplane which was truely a wonderful experience.I opted for kuramathi due to the size of the island and for the different dining options.We went select all inclusive and we were blown away by the quality of the food.The best restaurant in our opinion was the island barbecue,we never tried the thai resaurant but all the others were superb. We stayed in a superior beach villa with jacuzzi,which was wonderful. Overall an amazing holiday in paradise and would recommend to anyone

We stayed for 10 nights in September 2011 for the second part of our honeymoon and it was by far the most beautiful place we have ever stayed! We have been lucky enough to travel to some beautiful parts of the world but the sandbank at the tip of the island is indescribably beautiful. The food and service is fantastic. I would definately recommend upgrading to the select all inclusive. Staff are extremely helpful and the island really is stunning. We liked having the choice of restaurants each evening and all were delicious. We had a jacuzzi villa but hardly used it so if I went back I would downgrade the room so we could stay for longer. We hope to return next year.
