Linyanti Ebony Family Camp sits adjacent to Linyanti Bush Camp and is located within a Private Concession bordering the western boundary of Chobe in the Chobe Enclave. Built on raised decking overlooking the Linyanti Marsh, Linyanti Ebony Family Camp is a 10-bedded intimate tented camp offering families with young children the opportunity to experience a remote and wild area of Africa amidst stunning views of the Linyanti River . Access to the lodge is from the Khwai Airstrip – a 35 minute air transfer from Kasane Airport, or a 1 hour air transfer from Maun Airport.

Linyanti Ebony Family Camp Amenities

Linyanti Ebony Camp’s well-appointed accommodation includes 3 twin bedded tents (sleeps 2 per tent) and 1 luxury family room (a double bed and 2 twin beds), all with en-suite bathrooms containing a shower and flush toilet. The family unit contains an outdoor bath as well as a shower facility. The family unit can be converted into a Honeymoon Suite on request. A private dining and lounge area are delicately built on raised decking with a splash pool conveniently placed for guests to cool off in the heat of the day.

Area Attractions

A wide variety of activities allow for guests to experience the varied eco-systems by vehicle, on foot or on the water in mokoros, speed boats or pontoons. Night drives are also an option allowing travellers the opportunity to experience the night time predators.

General Policies & Disclaimers

As of April 2014, a half hour helicopter flight per stay will be incorporated as an activity offering to all guests staying at Linyanti Ebony Camp. Linyanti Ebony Camp can be booked exclusively with a minimum of 6 people and is open all year round. In addition Linyanti Bush Camp and Linyanti Ebony Camp can be booked exclusively for larger groups of up to 22 people. Children of all ages are welcome at Linyanti Ebony Family Camp however no children under the age of 16 years are permitted on walking safaris. Nature walks are offered around the camps for smaller children.
