Pemba island, away from western life, Manta resort hits the spot, there are no false promises about Manta Resort, it is easy going, peaceful, food is fresh, local and delivered by staff who care about you. Easy to loose track of the days not just the hours, it is a resort that blends the need for holidays and relaxation with continuation of local life around and as part of your time. The diving is very good, take time to look at very vibrant corals, satisfying mixture of large palegic life and colourful macro means the diving rewards you if you look. Manta resort is not trying to be anything it is not, just easy, relaxing and honest.

Comment:
You can buy all the luxury you want but it is very rare to find untouched nature in combination with staff and guests that feels like your friends. We spend one week of our honeymoon at Manta Resort and loved every second. The hotel have simple rooms and facilities but the nature, the food and the service is absolutely fantastic. We felt really relaxed doing nothing in this paradise but we enjoyed some activities like snorkling, local fishing and we watched a local soccer game in which the hotel staff participated. We recommend this place to anyone that loves to relax, swim, eat and drink in the most beautiful sorroundings and you will also have the opportunity to meet some new interesting people from different parts of the world. We will go back again!

When you are arriving after one hour through villages and rain forest. You are beeing very well velcomed by the management and staf whith hot towells and cool drinks. The rooms are not the luxury style but nice and clean. The less luxury rooms is outweight by the familiar atmosfhere, the outstanding beach and sea view. The staf and managment is really service minded and they always has a smile and time to help you whith everything. The food is based on fish,vegetable,fresh fruit and some meat. The food is well-cooked and very tasty. The hotel is not for people who want´s to party, it is a place for relaxation and peas and quite. If you wan`t you could go snoorkling or diving with the diving crue, and i tell you the diving and snookling is wonderfull in this azur blue water. You can visit the local villiages, you can sail into the sunset and much moore if you like or you can just relax and enjoy the beautiful views around the hotel. in the afternoon the fishing boat arrivs att the beach, and you can meet them and see what kind of fish they have catch. We recommed this hotel for people who want´s to celebrate some thing, aniversery, honeymoon,etc. And because the people is so nice and friendly. They always want`s the best for you.

Manta, Pemba is an incredibly special place. It is not a run of the mill chain hotel, on an over touristy spot. It is a humble, no frills , simple luxuries, secluded boutique hotel, with incredible staff, on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Manta gave us the opportunity to experience white sands, turquoise waters (not green or brown or even dark blue …. TURQUOISE) in perfect untouched solitude without breaking the bank.
