Mdluli Safari Lodge offers tented luxury in the south-western region of the Kruger National Park. The lodge is built on tribal land belonging to the Mdluli community and represents a wonderful example of successful and sustainable tourism. The lodge is accessed via Numbi Gate into the Kruger Park which is also the closest gate from Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport. For self-drive clients it is approximately 5 hours from Gauteng.
Accommodation is offered in 50 spacious tented suites which can sleep two adults and two children. The use of canvas and natural timber materials gives each tent a true safari feel. The décor of the lodge draws inspiration from the tones and textures of the surrounding natural environment mixed with the authentic charm of Siswati tradition. The lodge has an infinity swimming pool, restaurant, bar, spa and gym overlooking the Kruger Park and river. At night dine under the stars around the fire of the boma.
There is an elevated viewing deck on top of a large rock formation with spectacular 360 degree views. Enjoy Big 5 game drives into the Kruger National Park, or set out on a guided bush walk to explore the natural environment on foot.
