A charming safari experience awaits you at Ngala Tented Camp, a sophisticated tented camp perfectly positioned in a tranquil bushveld setting. Ngala shares an unfenced boundary with the world-renowned Kruger National Park, South Africa’s largest wildlife sanctuary.
Nestled between the riverine forest and the sandy river bed of the seasonal Timbavati River, the camp comprises just nine intimate and luxurious tented suites, raised on platforms and designed to blend in with the natural environment. Each tented suite has an en-suite bathroom, overhead fan, air conditioning, outdoor showers, snug electric blankets for chilly winter nights and private wooden decks. The swimming pool follows the contours of the riverbank and is a perfect place to relax and enjoy afternoon game viewing while a massage sala is the ideal spot to unwind.
Lunch can be served at a variety of areas around camp and theatrical al fresco dinners in the dry riverbed are simply amazing. Activities include twice-daily game drives with intimate wildlife encounters, interpretive bush walks, tracking and photographic safaris and conservation experiences including rhino notching (with supplement). Children 12 years and older are welcome at Ngala Tented Camp.
