Tarangire National Park is the best kept secret of the northern circuit - situated 120 km south west of Arusha. The game density is second only to the Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangire is home to an incredible variety of bird species. The Tarangire River runs through the centre of the park from south to northwest and drains into Lake Burungi. In the dry season this river attracts large herds of elephants and numerous other game species.Oliver’sCamp is situated in the remote south eastern part of this unique park allowing for complete privacy. This property offers 10 spacious tents with thatch roofs and king size beds. Each tent is complete with en suite bathrooms, flush toilets and outdoor showers. There is a separate dining area and lounge with breathtaking views of Tarangire.
