The Scuba Adventures Camp is located within the main Camp Site area, opposite the main swimming beach at Ponta Do Ouro, Southern Mozambique. The Main Camp consists of typical traditional Mozambican reed huts, called "Barracas". The Beach Camp consists of Standard Safari Tents & Luxury Sea Front Tents on wooden decks. The camp is equipped for self catering and has a communal kitchen with gas burners, hotplates, crockery & cutlery. There is also a large Freezer available for communal use. Please note freezer / fridge space is limited, and only for storage of food. Booze and Cold Drinks must be stored in personal cooler boxes. Ice and filtered drinking water can be purchased at the camp. In addition, there are 9 x fridge/freezers which are hired out for private use. All crockery and cutlery is also supplied. There is a large, communal braai facility which can be utilized free of charge but you will need to supply your own wood and charcoal. This can be bought from locals outside the camp ground.

REED BARRACAS: There are various configurations to the Barracas. All beds have Mosquito Nets. The Rooms do have fans in them - but please note - subject to load demands electricity to the rooms may be switched off between 6.00 AM and 3.00 PM. All rooms have electric lights and plug points for cell-phone recharge etc. Should you wish to plug in a small car fridge / cooler box etc there is a surcharge of R20.00 per day Ablution Facilities in the Dive Camp: This ablution block is solely for the use of the dive camp residents and not the general campers. There are hot & cold water showers with gas geysers so they don-t run out of hot water. BRING YOUR OWN TOWELS - BATH & BEACH BEACH & BUSH SAFARI TENTED CAMPS The Beach Camp consists of Standard Safari Tents & Luxury Sea Facing Safari Tents on wooden decks BUSH SAFARI CAMP: 24 Units each with 2 x single beds. Serviced by a separate ablution block which has a ladies & the gents each with 2 x showers & 2 x toilets. Residents have full use of the kitchen facilities and dining area in the Main Camp BEACH SAFARI CAMP: These tents have electric lights and double plug points, one two point & one three point. Rooms 1, 2, 3 & 4 have fans. All tents have mosquito netting over the doors & windows so no nets over the beds. Separate communal ablution block services these tents. Ladies with 2 toilets, 2 showers and 3 x hand basins with mirrors. Gents each with 2 toilets, 2 showers and 2 x hand basins with mirrors. Residents have full use of the kitchen facilities and dining area in the Dive Camp General Facilities: - Communal kitchen and dining area in camp. Catered Packages also available.
