Sea Cliff Resort & Spa has 2 infinity swimming pools and a children’s pool, as well an ocean dhow.
Mali Spa offers you an experience wrapped in the silence of escape and an awakening of the senses.
The spa works in partnership with Inaya Zanzibar that uses the finest blend of locally sourced ingredients for its products.
The recreational area offers darts, pool, table tennis, 2 flood-lit tennis courts, squash court, trampolines, beach volley ball, bicycles and a gym. These facilities and equipment are available free of charge to hotel guests. A variety of board games are also available from the Sports and Recreation area.
The Water sports Centre offers sailing, wake boarding, water skiing, tubing, kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding (SUP) and windsurfing. All non-motorized water-sports are free of charge for hotel guests. The Sports and Recreation Centre organises water sports instruction, which is charged back to your room.
Diving in Zanzibar is highly recommended. Scuba Fish Zanzibar offers instruction, equipment and transport at our Sports and Recreation Centre.
Children can visit the Kidz Club, a secure, contained playground supervised by child minders, with a mini climbing wall, arts, crafts and outdoor and indoor fun activities.
Few things can beat the experience of riding a horse through a tropical paradise down to a sparkling blue ocean. Sea Cliff Resort & Spa has a professionally managed stable yard with a qualified riding instructor catering for riders of all levels. Guests can choose from a spectacular beach sunset ride, a beautiful scenic trail around and across the golf course to the beach or the exhilarating once in a life-time ‘swimming experience’ with your horse at high tide
Golfers will enjoy the first and only championship standard course on the island. Our 9-hole Peter Matkovitch course with its picturesque club house on the beach, driving range and practice greens, have been designed to allow both the novice or more seasoned players to enjoy a unique day out in Zanzibar. To top it all, the last two holes are played alongside the Indian Ocean. The course has been designed with variation in distance and direction on the front and back 9 to create an experience of playing a full 18 holes.

Mangapwani Restaurant is situated next to the swimming pool and overlooks the Indian Ocean. It offers alfresco and undercover dining for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Expect cuisine with local and international themes and live entertainment.
Kobe Restaurant is situated at the Kobe swimming pool and offers casual light lunches such as wraps and pizzas. This menu is also available around both swimming pools, in the Zanzi-bar and lounges.
Zanzi-Bar is located between the main restaurant and the recreation area. It is filled with traditional Zanzibar chests and comfortable leather couches and offers perfect views of the setting sun.
Jetty Bar is situated at the end of the jetty. It offers the ideal location to enjoy exotic cocktails while watching the spectacular sunset over the Indian Ocean.
Beach Bar offers a welcome retreat from the African sun on Sea Cliff’s private beach next to the water sports centre.

Thank you for the follow up and I have to say my wife’s birthday trip to Zanzibar was a roaring success. The SeaCliff resort was top class and we felt like we were in pure heaven for the full 9 nights that we were fortunate enough to be there for. All the arrangements went off smoothly without a hitch and the resort really came to the party for my wife’s special birthday on the 20th rolling out a private seafood dinner on the jetty as well as a lovely locally constructed bouquet of flowers. Thank you very much for arranging such a wonderful holiday for ourselves and if we’re ever looking to head back to Zanzibar we certainly will knock on AfricaStay’s door. Kind regards Brian Arentsen

Hi Dave Just wanted to say a big thank you for organizing our trip. It was wonderful...everything worked like 'well oiled machinery' LOL!! The resort was a great choice, our room etc. was what we asked for and and we really enjoyed our time there. We did take two tours offered by the people who did the transfers and it seems we didn't get ripped off like other guests at out hotel!! Well I hope so anyway!! Prices varied horrendously and it may be good to warn future guests. AfricaStay will certainly be recommended by us and we would like to use your services in future. Thanks again Jo
