Positioned alongside the famous Somalisa Camp, this charming camp caters for an intimate gathering of up to 10 people. Like its counter-part, Somalisa Acacia Family Camp is elegantly furnished and contains 3 twin bedded tents and 1 family tent, all with en-suite bathroom facilities. In addition the family tent can be converted into a honeymoon suite for those guests recently married. Somalisa Acacia also has its own exclusive dining and lounge area with a private view of a small water hole and splash pool which are frequented by large herds of big game including buffalo, elephant, kudu, zebra, giraffe and lion. Activities include game drives and guided walks led by some of the most qualified and passionate guides in Africa.

With 108 species of mammals and over 400 species of birds, Hwange National Park in Zimbabwe has one of the highest animal diversities of any National Park on the planet. On special request Somalisa Acacia can be booked in conjunction with Somalisa Camp to cater for larger groups of up to 22 people. A private guide and tour leader facility is available on special request.

General Policies & Disclaimers

Access to Somalisa Acacia Family Camp is via the Manga Airstrip - a 40 minute air charter from Victoria Falls, followed by a 30 minute game drive to camp. Alternatively a 4 – 5 hour drive from Victoria Falls. The camp welcomes children of all ages. Children under the age of 16 are not permitted on walking safaris, however a guided nature walk is offered around the camp.
