Nestled along a sweeping bend of the Luangwa River is the charming Tena Tena Camp. A grove of mahogany trees shades beautiful thatched tents, which can accommodate up to ten guests. Each tent features a lovely open air ensuite bathroom. A honeymoon suite provides an intimate haven for couples and boasts separate sitting areas, a private dining room and an attractive ensuite bathroom. Guest areas include a thatched dining room, where delicious menus and fine wines can be enjoyed, as well as a discerning bar area. Both are conveniently situated near the river so guests can enjoy wonderful sightings of elephant, hippo and antelope on the river banks. Adventures include twice-daily game drives (including night drives), guided nature walks, cultural excursions to Kawaza Village and morning trips to the spectacular Buca Buca Lagoon.

This remote and small camp lies within the National Park and enjoys a stunning location on a sweeping bend of the Luangwa River. It was Robin's first camp and has remained a favorite of many safari lovers over the years. A grove of mahogany trees shade the "suite" tents - a tent with a verhanda, dressing room and large open bathroom. The waterhole that runs in front of the tents, is highly productive and the siestas can be spent watching and photographing from the bed The main area is a large canvas marquee placed between two mahogany trees. The view from sitting area, down the Luangwa River, is 60 km to the hills. Dinner is served on the platform, under the stars, again with a view of both the river and the waterhole.
