Knowing that usually people in Mauritius are more "unstressed" in their behaviour the crew of Bay Hotel was always friendly, supportive and flexible on requests. The hotel is nicely small and more like a boutique hotel as well as "smart" and clean with a sense for details. Location is quite and relaxed within a residential area. However, no need to look for outside entertainment. Nice open bar, good music and the restaurant offers surprising dishes and has a quite good standard

Small family owned hotel with 17 rooms in different categories. It is a very helpful and professional staff that is always there to help out. The food from the kitchen is very good. A good hotel that you will get value for your money.

We spent 8 nights at the hotel. The hotel has a very relaxing atmosphere in a very pleasant setting. We were warmly welcomed and the staff was at all times helpful and attentive to our needds. They made our stay most enjoyable. It is situated in a quieter but beautiful part of the island and would recommend to any couple wanted an unrushed and relaxing break.

We just came back from our dream vacation! This small, welcoming hotel was an excellent choice. Away from the big tourist crowds, excellent situation, really friendly and helpful staff, owners that really cared about your well-being. The tables by the beach, the sunsets, the clear water, the beautiful rooms. Best of all: the food was sublime! Every night we were invited to taste something new and each time it was a wonderful surprise, it just melted on your palate! Hope to be back someday.
